Installing a License

Format an USB pen drive in the FAT32 or NTFS file format.

Copy the license file to any (sub-) folder.
The folder can contain multiple license files. Each panel will pick its corresponding license file.
Optional:

Open the Settings Menu and navigate to the menu item: Licensing > Add License ... .

Insert the USB stick with the license into the SmartPanel.
The SmartPanel finds the corresponding license(s) based on the serial number.

Confirm the installation of the license by touching the green check symbol.
The license file is activated and the Info Display shows the currently valid licenses.

Pull the USB stick out of the SmartPanel.
Reviewing the License Status

Open the Settings Menu and navigate to the menu item: Licensing.
The info display shows the current license status and all available apps.
Activation Issues
In case you encounter problems activating your license file (license was rejected):

Note the error code.

Open the Settings Menu and navigate to the menu item: Service > Device-Info.
Information about the SmartPanel is displayed:

Note all information that is displayed on the info display.

Contact your local service representative with the above information.
