Longname*

Displays the name of the SmartPanel defined as Long Name in the Director configuration.

Date

Displays the system date of the matrix.

FW Version

Displays the firmware version currently in operation.

SN#

Displays the serial number of the SmartPanel.

Firmware Update

Install New Firmware ...

Installs a new firmware from a USB stick that has to be plugged into the USB port on the front. When the USB stick is plugged in, it is scanned for compatible firmware files. It does not matter in which (sub-)folder the firmware file is located. You can select which firmware is to be loaded onto the SmartPanel.

Currrent

Shows the current firmware version.

Log Files

Stores the internal log file onto an USB stick.
This data is used by the Riedel service for analysis and troubleshooting.

Save to USB

Saves the log file "report_*.tgz" to a previously inserted USB stick.

The file is saved in the folder "\Riedel\reports".

Device Status

Displays current error messages of the SmartPanel.

Factory Reset

Cancel

Exits the menu item and jumps back one level.

Reset Panel now

Resets the SmartPanel to the factory settings.

This reset affects following entries in the Settings Menu: Device Settings, Network, Applications and Transport. Log files will be deleted. Installed licenses are NOT affected by a factory reset.

Demos

Talk / Listen 1

A SmartPanel, which is not connected to a matrix, can be set to different operating modes for simulation. New users can familiarise themselves with the functions of the levers/push buttons and the respective LED/display information.

The demo mode is automatically exited if the SmartPanel is connected to a matrix.
