To connect an expansion SmartPanel, it must be connected to a main SmartPanel (RSP-1216HL or RSP-1232HL). To do this, connect the EXP connector of the main SmartPanel to the EXP connector of the expansion SmartPanel. Further expansion SmartPanels are connected in cascade accordingly. A total of up to 6 expansion SmartPanels can be cascaded. Shielded CAT5 patch cables must be used to connect the devices.
