Web Interface Password Protection
The web interface of 1200 SmartPanels, which are connected to Artist-1024, can now be protected by a password to improve the security from unwanted remote access.
With a protected SmartPanel, only the Live View tab is visible. Other tabs cannot be selected and the SmartPanel Remote Control is disabled.
This function can be activated in the Director software in the corresponding SmartPanel properties. Information on this can be found in the Director user manual. No settings can or need to be made on the SmartPanel itself.
You can recognize a locked web interface by the presence of the gray login icon
