With SimplyLive Production Suite Flex customers will be able to select licenses that allow the use of all software options available within the SimplyLive product range. With a range of servers, backend, client and optional software packages available, the tables shown in the sections below explains the compatibility between software and hardware. If in any doubt, Riedel sales and customer success teams will be happy to advise the best combination to suit a specific use case.
SLPS Flex Hardware and Software Compatibility
Backend Software
Any SimplyLive hardware must also be ordered with a Backend 11 Software license for ingest, playback and media processing functions. Flex can support a wide range of options, from 4 HD SDR channel up to 8 UHD HDR channels.

Client Software
In most cases SimplyLive Production Suite Flex will be used to provide access for operators to the primary software applications, ViBox and RefBox. These are enabled by purchasing the User licenses, PS-U1, PS-U2 and PS-U3.

SimplyLive also offers additional software for running media processing operations, these do not require a User license but will have their own separate software licenses that need to be purchased to enable them.
