Using the Vibox gRPC-based control API we can connect a SKAARHOJ switcher panel to SimplyLive and provide operators with a hardware control surface in the Technical Director position; either replacing the need to use the ViBox touchscreen entirely, or for use in combination with the touch screen.
This is well suited for the integrated production “All-in-One” mode where an operator to run the entire production from the SKAARHOJ panel, or in combination with a Replay Operator using the RC-10 or RC-200. Of course, with SimplyLive all this can be done using a single SimplyLive server.
In this guide we will explain how customers that have purchased a SKAARHOJ panel can connect it to their SimplyLive system using the management network. The guide also offers files that can be loaded to both the SKAARHOJ Panel and the SimplyLive ViBox application and provide the default functionality, designed around the combination of Technical Director and Replay operator positions shown above.
