Applications

In the Applications menu, the interfaces can be defined through which the respective application are connected to the network.

The network settings of the interfaces are set in the Settings menu Network.


WebUI

Selection of the interface (MEDIA 1, MEDIA 2, Media 1 & 2, MGNT) through which the SmartPanel web interface can be accessed.

The Audio Monitoring app is also connected via this interface.

NMOS Interface

Selection of the interface (MEDIA 1, MEDIA 2, MGNT) to which all NMOS applications of the SmartPanel connect, e.g. the Control Panel App.

Commentary

On DSP-1216HL the Commentary Control App can be started.

  • A CCA license (Commentary Control App) must be installed to be able to use this app.

  • If the Desktop SmartPanel is not integrated into an Artist configuration:

    • The app can be enabled here or in the SmartPanels Web Interface on the Device Settings tab.

  • If the Desktop SmartPanel is connected to an Artist configuration:

    • 'CCA is controlled via LUI' appears and the app cannot be launched here.

    • If the port type 'Single/Dual Commentator Mode' is selected for the DSP-1216HL in the Director configuration, the app launches automatically,

      and in the SmartPanels Web Interface appears the Commentary tab.

    • If an incorrect port type is selected in the Director configuration, the app will not start, and the Commentary tab will not be available in the Web Interface.
