By default the 19" mounting brackets are mounted so that the front of the device faces towards the
operator.

The rack-mounted devices can be installed mechanically in two ways: Reversed and Recessed
Reversed installation method
If the mounting brackets are mounted rotated by 180°, the front of the device faces towards the rack.

Recessed installation method
Regardless of the device's orientation, the mounting brackets can be mounted recessed to achieve a deeper installation depth.

In this position, the openings in the mounting brackes allow cables to be passed through.
