The Linear Timecode (LTC) is a new app for Riedel 1200 series SmartPanels that brings a new and simple way to display timecode on the SmartPanel displays. It can be easily configured via the new WebUI and only requires a single license. |

This app requires a license file (LTC_1200_PLUS).

A Linear Timecode signal must be available at the SmartPanel to display timecode.
The signal can be received either via AES67 or an analog input and patched to the corresponding LTC Parser on the I/O Matrix tab.
Follow these steps to use the Linear Timecode app.
Open the web interface of the SmartPanel:

Enter the IP address in the web browser (e.g. 192.168.41.159).
The web interface opens:

Navigate to the LTC tab.

In the LTC Left and LTC Right section, adjust the parameters of the two LTC displays.

In the LTC section, set the Enable checkbox to start the app on the SmartPanel.

Click the LTC Routing button to jump to the I/O Matrix tab, where you can define the LTC sources.

Set the crosspoint to the corresponding LTC Parser 1 and/or LTC Parser 2 to receive the respective source of the time signal.
In this example, the timecode present in Receiver 3 is displayed on the left side and the timecode received in Receiver 4 is displayed on the right side.
An additional key bank called Timecode is now available in the SmartPanel info display. The LTC app can be used on this key bank while other apps (e.g., Intercom) continue to run at the same time.
