This is a static topology template. Verify that its configured endpoint counts match the physical Signal Path.

Overview

This generic template represents a deembedder's configured signal endpoints and fixed Crosspoints in the hi Topology. It does not establish a network-control or parameter-control connection to a third-party device.

Network Requirements

No network connection, device address, Port, authentication, or firewall rule is required by this template.

Operator Workflow

UI Surface in hi: Inventory, Topology, and routing workflows
Layers Controlled: Static signal representation
Routing Semantics: For each video input, the template creates a video pass-through Crosspoint and the number of audio Ports set in Audio Channel Count. Those audio Ports inherit the input label in the form <label> CH<n> through Bridges.

Device-Side Setup

The physical deembedder is configured separately using its vendor tools. This static template requires no device-side network or service configuration.

Device Coverage

This generic template models a configurable deembedder topology. It does not make a product-specific compatibility claim.

Known Limitations

The template represents fixed deembedding relationships in hi's Topology; it does not communicate with a physical deembedder.
Video Input Count and Audio Channel Count are available only when the Node is created. To change them, create a new Node.

What's Not Supported

This static template does not monitor or control the physical deembedder. It also does not provide live device discovery, monitoring, Parameter Control, or device management.
