This view allows setting the configuration parameters of each registered host.

To register a host, see chapter Registration.

Overview

System Commissioning - Configuration

Filters allow you to quickly narrow-down a list to find a device.
See chapter Getting familiar with the User Interface #Filtering for more information.

Quicksteps for Configuration of Hosts

Proceed as follows.

  1. In Locations, select a location where the host is located to focus the list in Host Types to the host you want to configure.

  2. In Host Types, select the host type you want to configure.

  3. Select a host.

  4. According to the host type you have selected, set the host’s parameters in the right-hand panel.

PTP

Preferred Interface

Set the Ethernet port the server is to prioritize for use to communicate on the network.

Profile Type

Set the PTP profile to use as a preset configuration for the below PTP settings.

Custom: Freely set the PTP parameter values.
AES67-Media: Use the PTP preset values for AES67 media signal type.
ST2059-2: Use the PTP preset values for SMPTE ST 2059-2 signal type.
AES-R16: Use the PTP preset values for AES-R16 signal type.
IEEE1588 Default: Use the PTP preset values for IEEE1588 signal type.

PTP Domain

Set the domain to use for this WebRTC Gateway’s PTP clock.
PTP domains allow you to use multiple independent PTP clocking subdomains on a single network.

Priority 1

Definition of the Priority-1 of the PTP source.
Default PTP Priority 1: 128, Range: 0...255

Priority 2

Definition of the Priority-2 of the PTP source.
The PTP Server-Clock of AES67 cards have a higher priority than the PTP Server-Clock for panels. The highest possible priority for panels is 126. Thus the default setting of AES67 cards is increased to 120.
Default PTP Priority 2: 120, Range: 0...255

Announce Interval

The base-2 logarithm of seconds of the interval of PTP announce messages.
Default Announce Interval: 1, Range: -3...4

Announce Timeout

The timeout for the receipt of the aforementioned messages.
Default Announce Receipt Timeout: 3, Range: 2...10

Sync Interval

The base-2 logarithm of seconds of the interval of PTP sync messages.
Default Sync Interval: 0, Range: -7...1

Delay Request Interval

The base-2 logarithm of seconds of the interval of PTP delay request messages.
Default Delay Request Interval: 0, Range: -7...5

Transport Type

Set the transport protocol used for PTP packets.

Delay Mechanism

Set the delay mechanism in the network: E2E (End to End), P2P (Peer to Peer) or Auto.

Slave Only

Set if this WebRTC Gateway is to be a PTP TimeReceiver (enabled) or a PTP TimeTransmitter (disabled).

Processing

Maximum Connectable Clients

Set the maximum number of clients this WebRTC Gateway is to support. Default: 100, Range: 1...1000

Opus Packet Time

Real-time duration for the transmission of audio data packets.

Default value: 20 ms Range: 2, 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, 120 ms

Actions

Reboot

Click to reboot the WebRTC Gateway server.
