They control access based on IP address, protocol (e.g., TCP, UDP, ICMP), and port number.
This ensures that only specified traffic can reach your instances, providing a fundamental level of security.
Operating System credentials add another level of security.
Several platforms and tools can help you collect the public IP addresses of a group of people. A common method is using a web-based service where users visit a webpage prior to an event, and their IP addresses are automatically or manually logged.
