New Integrations

Grass Valley NVision NP0016 Compatible Router

  • Added Crosspoint control, partition discovery, and status monitoring over TCP, including dual controller support.

For more information, see: Grass Valley NVision NP0016 Compatible Router.

Added

Destination Locking

  • Introduced locking of Destinations from the Control Panel and Hardware Panels. Locks appear on Ports, Port Containers, and Snapshots, and locking can be enabled or disabled per Preset.

  • Locks apply to routing through hi and its connected Hardware Panels. They do not prevent another controller from changing the router directly. Operators can release their own locks; releasing another operator's lock requires the appropriate unlock permission.

For more information, see: Destination Locks.

MediorNet Redundant Connection

  • Added support for a redundant Riedel MediorNet Ember+ connection.

  • Routing and Parameter Control follow the active MediorNet frame after a changeover. Redundant connection addresses can also be added to Nodes restored from an existing Backup.

Port Containers in Triggers

  • Added Port Container support to Crosspoint Triggers.

For more information, see: Rules.

  • Added a Name from device search in the Node Port list.

For more information, see: Nodes.

Loudness Parameter Mapping

  • Added the Loudness Parameter value mapping for the new Parameter type in mxGUI 10.0.2.6.

Changed

Lock Indicators

  • Updated lock icons on Hardware Panels and the router panel, and added lock display on the Snapshot Connections tab and Node details pages.

For more information, see: Destination Locks.

Locks on Restore and Delete

  • Changed Backup restore to ignore locks and device deletion to remove the locks created by Hardware Panels.

  • After restoring a Backup, apply the required Destination locks again.

For more information, see: Destination Locks.

Fixed

Control Panel

  • Locked Destinations: Fixed Crosspoint requests on locked Destinations and inherited lock handling.

  • Port Display: Fixed an unlocked Port being displayed as not unlockable.

  • Lock Error Messages: Fixed error messages shown when locking or unlocking multiple Ports.

  • Connection Indicator: Fixed the connection indicator message alignment.

Nodes and Integrations

  • Nevion VideoIPath Over Ember+: Fixed connecting to Nevion VideoIPath when the matrix is deep in the Ember+ tree.

  • Enum Parameters: Fixed Ember+ enum Parameters not updating.

  • Kahuna Tally: Fixed Kahuna switcher Tally hanging during fast switching.

  • MediorNet Redundant Backups: Fixed hiding a disabled redundant connection after adding the redundant Ember+ host to an existing Backup.

Rules

  • Disconnect and Empty Source Actions: Fixed Port Container Crosspoint Actions that disconnect a Source or use an empty Source.

  • Route on Unlock: Fixed Crosspoint Actions that route on unlock.

Known Issues

None in this release.
