Licensing Impact
Control Panel Apps on Riedel 1200 Series SmartPanel devices connected to hi no longer require a hiLink license per device. A hiUser license remains required per device.
TAG MCS integration is included in hiBase and is available through the license portal. The integration still requires its entitlement in the installed license.

New Integrations
Ross openGear
-
Added Ross Video® openGear® support for Parameter Control.
For more information, see: Ross openGear.
Added
Hardware Panel UI Simulation
-
Added support for simulating Hardware Panels directly in the hi web interface so users can preview how Presets appear on specific panel models.
-
Delegating Presets or changing the connected panel's settings updates open simulators automatically.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
Undo Last Change for Destination
-
Added an Undo Last Change action that lets operators revert the most recent Crosspoint change for accessible Destinations.
Information
The last Crosspoint state is tracked globally, not per user.
-
Undo supports multiple selected Destinations and changes made by another operator or an external controller. Previous connections are not saved across system restarts.
-
Previous connections remain available for Undo after a page refresh or after logging out and back in, provided the system has not restarted.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
Port and Port Container References
-
Added reference search to identify where a Port or Port Container is used within hi.
-
References include Port Containers, Rules, Snapshots, Tally, and Joystick Override. Reference search is available from Node details, Port Containers, and the Control Panel; select no more than 200 Ports at a time. Results are limited to 200 references.
For more information, see: Port Containers.
Preset Groups
-
Added support for nesting Presets in Preset Groups to improve navigation and usability.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
Colored Presets, Preset Groups, Ports, and Port Containers
-
Added color customization for Presets, Preset Groups, Ports, and Port Containers. Each user can configure color visibility in their profile settings.
Caution
Due to hardware limitations, this feature is not available on Hardware Panels.
For more information, see: Control Panel.

Preset Short Name Field
-

-
The short name is initially derived from the Preset name and is shortened to 10 characters when saved.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
Lowercase and Uppercase Letters in Names and Labels
-
Added preservation of uppercase and lowercase letters in Preset names, Preset Group names, Port Labels, and Tag Category names.
