Overview

The Sony^® HDCU-4300 entry is a static device template. It represents the HDCU signal topology in hi; it does not connect to or control the physical HDCU.

Network Requirements

No network connection to the HDCU is made by this template, so it requires no device firewall ports.

Operator Workflow

The template adds the HDCU-4300 signal ports and static Crosspoint model to hi. It does not read state from or send commands to the physical unit.

Supported Features

Fixed Crosspoints	Model-only	Camera In to all twelve SDI outputs; Ref In to Ref Out; Prompter In to Prompter Out. Return, Tally, and audio Ports have no fixed Crosspoint.

Device Coverage

This integration models the HDCU-4300 in the Topology only. Because hi does not connect to the HDCU, it has no Tested With list and no HDCU firmware range.

Known Limitations

This entry is a static hi-side model; it does not verify that a physical HDCU is present or connected.

What's Not Supported

Remote parameter monitoring or control, TSL UMD labels or Tally, device discovery, firmware updates, calibration, and device-configuration backup.
