Overview

The Grass Valley^® LDX^™ Series template represents camera endpoints and fixed Crosspoints in the hi Topology. It does not connect directly to the camera.

Network Requirements

No network connection, device address, Port, authentication, or firewall rule is required by this template.

Routing Semantics: The template contributes fixed camera Ports and Crosspoints to the Topology.

Supported Features

Static Camera Endpoints	Model-only	Inputs: CAM, Mic 1, and Mic 2. Outputs: Camera Out, SDI OUT 1, SDI OUT 2, Monitoring, Mic 1 Out, and Mic 2 Out. No live camera read or write occurs.
Static Crosspoints	Model-only	CAM to Camera Out, SDI OUT 1, SDI OUT 2, and Monitoring; Mic 1 to Mic 1 Out; Mic 2 to Mic 2 Out.

Device Coverage

This integration models LDX Series cameras in the Topology only. Because hi does not connect to the camera, it has no Tested With list and no camera firmware range.

Known Limitations

This template defines static signal topology only; hi does not connect to the physical LDX camera or expose its live state.
Count and Start numbering with are available only when you create the Nodes. hi creates one Node for each camera and adds the camera number to each Node name, starting at Start numbering with. When Count is 1, hi does not add a number.

What's Not Supported

Live camera discovery, device-state readback, Parameter Control, Tally exchange, and device management through this static template. Use Grass Valley Camera Connect only when the configured gateway exposes the required camera functions.
