This section explains how to create Portal credentials, sign in, and confirm the Customer Account that contains the Devices you need to manage.
Before You Begin
Confirm that you have:
-
An email address intended for Portal access.
-
Access to that mailbox for verification codes.
-
Authorization to work with the relevant Customer Account.
-
The Portal URL: https://licensing.riedel.net/.
The email identity must be associated with the Customer Account that owns the licensed Devices. Creating credentials does not grant access to every Customer Account or Device.
Recommended Sequence
|
Situation |
Procedure |
|---|---|
|
You already have a Portal password |
|
|
Your email was provisioned but you have never created a password |
|
|
You cannot remember the password |
|
|
More than one Customer Account appears |
|
|
You want an overview of the signed-in landing page |
Expected Result
After sign-in, the Portal opens the Account User’s Customer Account. Most Account Users have access to one Customer Account. Depending on permissions, navigation can display Devices, Device Groups, Flex, and Admin.
Before beginning any licensing task, verify the Customer Account shown. If more than one Customer Account is available, select the one that owns the Device or entitlement.
Security Guidance
-
Keep verification codes and passwords private.
-
Do not share Portal identities between operators.
-
Sign out when using a shared or temporary workstation.
-
For Customer Account access corrections, contact Riedel Customer Success instead of registering a second identity as a workaround.
