Troubleshooting

Critical Operating Rules

  • Confirm the current Customer Account and matching Device before any file exchange.

  • Use only files generated for the matching Device and current request cycle.

  • Complete the Product-Side licensing procedure and verify the expected capability after a Portal action.

Safety and Privacy

  • Do not put credentials, personal information, or confidential site details in a Device Name.

  • Treat Request Files, Manual Identity Lease Confirmations, and License Files as customer-specific operational data.

  • Confirm that the Customer Account shown and the Device are correct before uploading a Request File or downloading a License File.

  • Do not share screenshots that contain unmasked Serial Numbers, email addresses, IP addresses, or Customer Account identifiers.

  • Treat all values shown in screenshots in this manual as examples; never use them as real identifiers or licensing data.

Support and Issue Reporting

Direct all Portal support requests, access issues, licensing problems, and suspected defects to Riedel Customer Success.

When opening a request, include the affected Licensed Product, Portal area, UTC timestamp, and exact warning or error text. Mask customer identifiers in general screenshots. Transfer complete Serial Numbers, Request Files, Manual Identity Lease Confirmations, and License Files only through an approved secure method. Do not send passwords or verification codes.
