New Integrations
Arkona AT300 // BladeRunner
-
Added support for the Arkona Technologies AT300 // BladeRunner, including provisioning from hi.
For more information, see: Arkona AT300 // BladeRunner.
Added
Snapshot Cloning
-
Introduced cloning of an existing Snapshot.
For more information, see: Clone a Snapshot.
Add and Edit Ports from the Snapshot Page
-
Added the ability to add and edit Ports from the Snapshot page, and to inspect Ports and Port Containers from it.
For more information, see: Add Ports to a Snapshot.
Node Groups
-
Introduced grouping of Nodes in the Node list, with search that includes Nodes inside groups.
For more information, see: Nodes.
Excel Import and Export of Ports
-
Added import and export of Ports in Excel format.
-
Use import to update existing Ports. Keep the Port and Node identifiers unchanged so imported rows match the existing configuration. Creating new Ports through the spreadsheet does not establish their Layer relationships.
For more information, see: Nodes.
Log Collection in the hi Web Interface
-
Added log collection and download from the hi web interface.
-
Select the start and end of the time interval to collect.
For more information, see: Collect and Download Logs.
Server Shutdown and Reboot
-
Added shutdown and reboot of hi servers from the hi web interface, with a wait countdown in the dialog.
For more information, see: System.
Port Container Creation from Node Port Lists
-
Added creation of Port Containers from a Node's Port or signal list.
For more information, see: Port Containers.
Quick Take with Port Containers
-
Added support for Port Containers to Quick Take in the Control Panel.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
Multicast Address Discovery for NMOS
-
Added automatic discovery and configuration of NMOS multicast addresses.
-
Managed Nodes receive addresses from the selected range, and hi reapplies those addresses when a Node reconnects. Unmanaged Nodes retain their device-configured addresses; hi reads them and indicates conflicts. Devices that cannot accept remote address changes require manual configuration.
For more information, see: Manage Multicast Addresses.
Changed
Faster Snapshot Creation and Recall
-
Improved the performance of Snapshot creation and recall.
For more information, see: Snapshots.
Combined NMOS and Baseband Nodes
-
Changed IP Mapping to associate NMOS Senders and Receivers with Ports on an existing Baseband Node. The IP Mapping view shows these associations and their IP information.
For more information, see: Nodes.
Port Container Locking
-
Changed locked Port Container connections to re-route when the source Port Container content changes.
-
The lock preserves the connection to the Source Port Container rather than freezing its contents.
For more information, see: Port Containers.
Backup and Restore
-
Improved backup and restore to reduce memory use, and added multi-select deletion, column ordering, and the software version and installation ID on the Backups page.
For more information, see: Backups.
Port Ordering in the Control Panel
-
Changed Control Panel Port ordering to use only the primary display name and type.
For more information, see: Control Panel.
IP Mapping License Requirement
-
Changed IP Mapping to no longer require an experimental license.
For more information, see: Nodes.
Uppercase Tags
-
Changed Tag names to display in uppercase throughout the hi web interface.
For more information, see: Tags.
Same-Device IP Routing
-
Changed routing to allow Sources to be routed to Destinations on the same IP device when the device supports that connection.
