Live Module

The Live module in SimplyLive Production Suite Flex is a powerful environment for live production. It allows the operator not only to vision switch and direct the show live, but also to keep full access to replay content during the production.

From the Live module, you can access the output of the replay operators and use it directly in your production workflow. At the same time, you are not limited to their outputs only. You can also browse the clips and playlists they create, together with their metadata, and load that content instantly whenever needed. This means that if a replay operator creates a clip or builds a playlist, the director or production operator can immediately see it, load it, and play it from the Live module.

This makes the workflow especially powerful in fast live environments, because replay content becomes available across the system as soon as it is created. Instead of waiting for a replay operator to play something out manually, the production user can directly access the material and decide how and when to use it.

In a shared production setup, the system supports a maximum of three users working at the same time. A typical configuration is one user working in the Live module and two replay operators preparing replays, clips, and playlists for the same live production. This multi-user approach is part of the integrated workflow, where additional users can create replay content for the main live programme while staying inside the same production environment.
