What the License Enables
hiAccess connects hi user administration to Microsoft Entra ID. Organizations can use their existing identity groups and apply the corresponding hi roles and access settings at sign-in.
hiAccess is discontinued as a separate commercial license for new bundles. Its identity-administration capability is included in hiCore; existing hiAccess licenses remain valid for legacy hiBase installations.

|
Group-Based Administration |
Import selected groups and map their hi roles and access settings |

Requirements and Combinations
In the established hiBase bundle combinations, hiAccess requires hiBase. It does not replace hiUser session capacity; each active browser or Hardware Panel session still uses the normal user-session model.
Planning Notes
Caution
Prepare the Entra ID tenant, application registration, groups, and role mapping with the organization's identity administrator. Keep a local administrator path available until the federated workflow is tested.
Scope Boundary
hiAccess adds identity integration and synchronized administration; it does not add user-session capacity. hiUser remains the license for concurrent operator sessions.
