What the License Enables
hiCore and hiBase are foundation license bundles with different feature scope. hiCore provides foundation routing and hiAccess identity administration for new orders. Existing issued licenses remain valid.
Portals are included in hiBase, but not in hiCore. For a hiCore installation, Portals require hiAdvancedWorkflows.

Requirements and Combinations
Caution
For new orders, hiCore replaces the hiBase plus hiAccess pairing. Do not add separate hiBase or hiAccess licenses to that new bundle. Existing issued licenses remain valid and continue to work in their established combinations.
Additional capabilities such as Hardware Panels, hiContact GPIO, external control, multi-server operation, and separately licensed integrations may require other licenses. Check the relevant datasheet and the Feature Matrix.
Planning Notes
Count the two included user licenses when planning concurrent sessions. The administrative license is reserved and cannot activate a Hardware Panel; each Hardware Panel must meet its own licensing requirement.
Scope Boundary
hiCore does not include Portals or integrations covered by separate licenses. Availability and scope of drivers and protocol implementations are evaluated at the time of purchase.
