What the License Enables

hiBase is a license bundle sold on the pricelist that provides the foundation for a complete hi installation. It gives operators one place to route supported baseband signals, manage system resources, and control supported devices.

Information

Bundle scope: Existing hiBase licenses remain valid. hiCore replaces the foundation bundle for new orders, with different feature scope. hiBase includes Portals; hiCore requires hiAdvancedWorkflows for Portals.

Use the supported baseband device integrations listed in the Integrations catalog

Requirements and Combinations

In the established hiBase bundle combinations, other hi licenses are add-ons to hiBase. Add hiUser licenses for additional concurrent browser or Hardware Panel sessions. Add hiGlue when connecting supported Hardware Panels or hiContact GPIO boxes.

Planning Notes

hiBase remains valid for existing installations. For new orders, use hiCore for foundation routing and identity administration. Portals require hiAdvancedWorkflows with hiCore. Confirm the required integrations and peak operator concurrency before selecting add-ons.

Scope Boundary

Network ecosystems, external control, identity integration, multi-server deployment, compressed-streaming devices, advanced Widgets, and supported third-party Hardware Panels use their corresponding add-on licenses. See the Integrations catalog for the required license on each device page.
