What the License Enables

hiSwarm enables a commissioned multi-server hi deployment for facilities that require high availability. Project-specific commercial scope covers the installation's requirements; the supported architecture is defined in High Availability.

Requirements and Combinations

hiSwarm requires hiBase for an existing hiBase installation or hiCore for a new installation. It does not replace the licenses required for device integrations, Hardware Panels, external control, or operator sessions.

Planning Notes

Use High Availability for the standard three-node architecture and its database and storage arrangement.

Confirm license quantities, server placement, networking, client access, monitoring, Backup, and recovery requirements with Riedel Customer Success before procurement.

Project-specific licensing and site commissioning do not imply a customer-selected database topology or support for an arbitrary number of cluster nodes.

Scope Boundary

hiSwarm does not add device-integration, Hardware Panel, external-control, or operator-session capacity. Select those licenses separately when the commissioned deployment requires them.
