Synchronize an Online License

Overview

Use Sync License when Riedel has granted changed entitlements and the installation can reach the licensing service. For example, granted modules or increased hiUser or hiLink quantities can be synchronized without uploading another license file.

Prerequisites

• hi version 3.0.0 or later and Licensing admin.

• The intended installation identified by its Serial Number.

• Network access to the licensing service endpoints.

• Confirmation that the changed entitlements have been provided for this installation.

Synchronize the License

1. Open System > Licensing.

2. Confirm the installation identity and review the current quantities and validity information.

3. Select Sync License.

4. Wait for the operation to finish, then review the displayed quantities, Option states, and validation information.

Constraints

Sync License is disabled when the total installed user-license quantity is zero. This is different from having no free sessions while existing user licenses are in use. Use Review License Status and contact Riedel Customer Success if the expected license is absent.

Verify the Result

Confirm the expected entitlement quantity or Option state is displayed, then verify the intended licensed workflow. If the result remains unchanged or a warning persists, retain the complete message and use Customer Support.
